HUNTING
Our season at Adirondack Foothills starts long before the opening day of hunting season. We are always on the lookout for new areas to hunt, and we start our serious scouting in August.
We are located in a non-agricultural area of forested New York State. Therefore you will be hunting challenging wilderness and wildland settings. The bow hunting season begins on 27th of September of each year and you can hunt through the first Sunday in December. Whether you hunt with bow, black powder or rifle, you will find some fine hunting experiences in the Adirondacks. Although our hunting trips are most often for white tail deer, opportunities to take black bear and coyote may present themselves.

We offer trips for all levels of experience, from the first-timer to the well-seasoned outdoors-man or outdoors-woman. Most of our trips are based out of nearby motel lodging or local bed and breakfast accommodations.
CONTACTMaybe you would like to combine your early-season hunt with some fishing for bass, northern pike or trout? Whatever your goal, we aim to please. Do you want to hunt unaided by a guide, but need your hunters and gear delivered to a remote shore? We can arrange Drop Camp transportation for you. A valid New York State hunting license is required.
If you don’t want to limit your tracking and hunting skills to the game season, how about experiencing a photography shoot during the off-season?
