Rates
For all activities listed below, groups of three or more people are entitled to substantial saving.Contact us for a group-rate quote.
Half-day trips can also be arranged for many activities.
Equipment outfitting, if not included in the trip or program description, can be provided at your request at local rental rates.
BEYOND THE TRAIL Outdoor Leadership Apprentice Program.
Fee is $200
per person per program for camp-style sessions. Enroll for
5 educational programs and receive a 6th program free! All camp needs,
meals and materials are provided at no additional fee.
Fee is $75
per person per session for programs requiring in-town lodging, such as Introduction to Ice Fishing. Meals and
lodging are not included in these programs, but we will be pleased
to help you arrange suitable lodging.
BEYOND BOW (Becoming an Outdoorswoman)
We are please to offer a Becoming an OutdoorsWoman affiliated Beyond BOW program in the Saranac Lake / Lake Placid area. These programs are not limited to female participants, but incorporate activities and teaching methods that appeal to women's learning styles. Please click on our Education page for program content. Unlike the camp-style setting of our regular programs, the special Beyond BOW fee combines your pre-arranged local accommodations and meals with our outdoor practice sessions. Fees are based on group-rate enrollment, and are as low as $20 per person.
HUNTING
Rates
begin at $175 per person per day. Rates for Drop Camps vary according
to transport distance.
FISHING
Rates
begin at $150 per trip for two persons per half-day, or $225 per
trip for two persons per day. Bait, tackle and fishing reels/poles
are included in your trip cost
HIKING AND CAMPING
Rates begin at $150 per person per day - Group rates also apply.
BOATING AND
CANOEING
Rates begin at $75 per person per half-day - Group rates also apply.

Rate $25 per person (6-person minimum)
ADVANCE REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION: 50% deposit
required by credit card, personal check or money order, with balance due by credit card or in cash
or cashier check on arrival. 100% deposit required for trips booked
within one week of departure. Prices are subject to change prior
to receipt of deposit. Trips cancelled less than 30 days prior to
departure will be assessed a $30.00 processing fee. We accept Master Card, Visa & Discover Cards.
REGISTRATION THROUGH ACCEPTED AGENCIES (e.g. hotels, travel agencies) : Trips cancelled less than 7 days prior to departure will be assessed a cancellation fee of 50% of the activity fee.
Wilderness travel
has inherent dangers. Your guide cannot absolutely guarantee your
safety during any trip you embark upon. You or your heirs cannot
hold Adirondack Foothills Guide Service or your guide in any way
responsible for any accident or injury you incur during, or as a
result of, your trip.
Equipment
list
Clients are expected to bring clothing appropriate to the season,
foul-weather gear, sturdy footwear, and toiletries/personal items.
We can outfit your other outdoor needs. Check with us to find out
what you need to bring for any specific activity.

Hunting
and fishing licenses
License purchase can be arranged for out-of-state residents. There
is no charge for this service above the license fee.
HUNTING: Please
provide a copy of your hunter safety certificate or previous hunting
license. It is required in order for us to perform this service
for you.
FISHING: Please
provide a copy of your drivers license. It is required in order
for us to perform this service for you.
