BEYOND BOW (Becoming an Outdoorswoman) We are pleased to offer a Becoming an OutdoorsWoman affiliated Beyond BOW program in the Tupper Lake / Saranac Lake / Lake Placid area. These programs are not limited to female participants, but incorporate activities and teaching methods that appeal to women’s learning styles. Hunting Rates begin at $400 per person per day. Rates for Drop Camps vary according to transport distance.

Fishing Rates begin at $300 per trip for two persons per half-day, or $400 per trip for two persons per day. Bait, tackle and fishing reels/poles are included in your trip cost.

Hiking & Camping Rates begin at $250 per day for 1 – 4 people – Lower per-person rates for larger groups may also apply.

Boating & Canoeing Rates begin at $300 per person per half-day – Lower per-person rates for larger groups may also apply.

Full Moon Float Trips Rate $60 per person (6-person minimum)

Leaf Peeper Float Trips Rate $60 per person (6-person minimum)


For all activities listed above, groups of four or more people are entitled to substantial saving. Contact us for a group-rate quote.

Half-day trips can also be arranged for many activities.

Equipment outfitting, if not included in the trip or program description, can be provided at your request at local rental rates.

Advance Registration Confirmation

Terms: 50% deposit due to confirm private events. 100% deposit due on special reduced-fee group events. An event cancelled by the client 30 days or more before departure will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. Events cancelled by the client less than 30 days before departure forfeit the deposit, but alternate event arrangements may be made by mutual agreement of the guide and the client. An event cancelled by the guide will return 100% of the deposit. Returned checks will be assessed a $45 return fee. The guide reserves the right to cancel, reroute, or reschedule any activity in consideration of participant abilities and conditions, weather conditions, general safety, and/or route access.

Registration Through Accepted Agencies (e.g. hotels, travel agencies) : Trips cancelled less than 7 days prior to departure will be assessed a cancellation fee of 50% of the activity fee.

Wilderness travel has inherent dangers. Your guide cannot absolutely guarantee your safety during any trip you embark upon. You or your heirs cannot hold Adirondack Foothills Guide Service LLC or your guide in any way responsible for any accident or injury you incur during, or as a result of, your trip.

Equipment List Clients are expected to bring clothing appropriate to the season, foul-weather gear, sturdy footwear, and toiletries/personal items. We can outfit your other outdoor needs. Check with us to find out what you need to bring for any specific activity.
